THE 14th MEETING OF ENERGY SUMMIT OF TURKEY

The 14th Energy Summit of Turkey which will feature nearly 1500 national and international participants will be about far more than an international scientific meeting of professionals . It will take place at Hilton Bomonti Hotel, in Istanbul between 25-26 November,2024.

I will attend the summit as well. The conference will cover multidimensional subjects on energy ranging from the concerns on essential themes like ecology , technology, solar energy to renewable energy development and application.

My interest and involvement in energy efficiency and clean energy innovations span a period of more than 14 years. I’ve been invited to an international Conference on Clean Energy (ICCE) 10th meeting of professionals as a writer on the issue. The transformatioanl process of the energy markets and its impact on Turkish and global markets , futuristic trends will be on the agenda of this energy summit.

Can the world face a serious energy crisis until 2030s? What is the annual growth of global energy demand? How could we limit global temperature rise? As a matter of fact, in 2022, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has proposed the need to foster green transition: to facilitate global access to green technologies. I believe this 14th energy summit will add new perspectives to improve the use of sustainable renewable energies. Climate change could jeopardize global energy security. Therefore, we need efficient and secure energy network and consistent decentralized systems of energy. Esteemed Professor Dr. Nejat Veziroğlu has pointed out hydrogen as an efficient clean fuel. In other words, hydrogen makes use of energy sources storable and transportable.
